Structural and functional recovery of the former Capo Sperone’s “Semaforo”
The Capo Sperone Lighthouse (Semaforo) in Sant'Antioco is set to come back to life through the "S-CAPE Resort" project, a sustainable redevelopment initiative that combines high-end hospitality with local heritage preservation. The former signal station will be transformed into a charming retreat: the main lighthouse building and the warehouse will house just four exclusive suites, while the former officers' quarters will accommodate the reception and a wellness area. The Captain's House (Casa del Capo) will become a panoramic restaurant and event space dedicated to local art and gastronomy. Maximum attention is paid to the environment, featuring a fully reversible dry-mounted modular pool and charging stations for electric mobility. Finally, the concession agreement guarantees public access to the site, offering open outdoor trails on winter weekends, monthly guided tours of the lighthouse, and participation in major cultural events like Monumenti Aperti.
